


- Membership Committee:
Description: The membership chair works closely with Stacey to: follow membership totals each month, look for potential new members, send out annual membership materials, develop and send out the membership directory.
- Education Committee:
Description: Our Education Committee is responsible for setting up all education programs. The committee develops program ideas and then books the speakers, coordinates logistics and promotes the events.
- Social Committee:
Description: This committee coordinates all the social activities of the club. This includes the logistics for the Holiday Party, Volunteer Breakfast and Season Premiere, as well some arrangements for the NORIs. The committee members have a number of responsibilities including: to create and produce marketing materials; secure, negotiate with and oversee the venue, food and to assist on the night of the event.
- NORIs Committee:
Description: The NORI Awards is one of the premier events of the Ad Club. The committee is responsible for putting together all aspects of the NORI Awards show. The group has the following tasks: solicitation of entries, entry day set-up, coordination of judging weekend, development of promotional materials, public relations, production of the show and coordination of all event logistics.
- Scholarship Committee:
Description: This committee was created to assist local college students working towards a career in the advertising industry. An annual college scholarship is awarded to a student(s) who is majoring in communications. The Ad Club’s intention is to keep young talent in the community after graduation.
- Newsletter Committee:
Description: The Newsletter Committee is charged with producing the Club’s newsletter. This members- only, monthly publication offers information on the activities and happenings of the Club. The committee generates ideas and gathers the information to write articles for the newsletter. The newsletter is distributed via email to all members.
- Web Site Committee:
Description: Our Web Site Committee is responsible for updating and maintaining The Ad Club site. In addition to site maintenance, the group develops effective ways to utilize the web in promoting its various events and programs.
- Nominating Committee:
Description: This committee looks for potential candidates and takes suggestions / recommendations for The Ad Club Board of Directors and the Outstanding Achievement Award. Compiling a list from the membership, the committee presents a slate of nominees for elections and votes.
- Public Service Committee:
Description: This committee works with a non-profit organization, chosen by the board, and a local agency or design firm to develop pro-bono marketing materials. The materials are clearly outlined at the beginning of the each year’s assignment.
