Very important information:

Bring the following when you drop off your entry:
(if an entry is incomplete, you will have to wait until the next entry date to submit it)

  1. 1. Two copies of your entry with the entry labels attached (yes, two!). One entry will be displayed in the gallery at the dinner. The second is needed in case it wins gold and needs to be shipped off immediately to the regional competition.

  2. 2. Your manifest form (which summarizes your entry and states your total fee)

  3. 3. Your check made out to the Albany ADDYs for the amount listed on the manifest

  4. 4. A cd with a jpg of your entry to be used at the award dinner and in the program if your piece is chosen as a finalist

There are two drop-off opportunities for students:

Student Drop-off : Tuesday, November 18th, 5:30pm – 8pm
at the Albany Jewish Community Center, 340 Whitehall Road, Albany.
Enter the main door in the front of the building.

Early-Bird Drop-off : Friday, December 12th, 3pm – 7pm
at the Atrium of the Massry Center for the Arts at The College of Saint Rose, 1002 Madison Ave., Albany.
Parking is in the back of the building; enter at the side entrance.

Please remember that the way you enter the information into each field is exactly how it will appear throughout the ADDY process – from entry lists, to judging sheets, to the program book. Please make sure to use the appropriate upper and lower case in all fields and proofread before submitting. We’ve written some hints to help you with the entry pages:

It is also to your advantage to submit print items as opposed to submitting a photo of them. This way the judges are able to judge your entry more fully if they can review it in person.
